She doesn’t know I left the house today. There’s something in the trunk of my car.

Something she’s been wanting for months now. Something she hasn’t brought up in a while. Something she probably thinks I forgot about.

I didn’t. She gets home in a few hours. I can’t wait for her to see it.

      Gotcha. It wasn’t my first time shopping at Dillard’s. It won’t be my last. I genuinely love shopping at Dillard’s. Neither of us would have dreamed of buying stuff there ten years ago when we were working for peanuts.
