Scientists are just starting to discover how extreme heat and weather is linked to neurological conditions such as Alzheimer’s and motor neurone disease – and can even affect babies in the womb. What can we do about it?
Since the articles title has a question mark, i don’t need to read it to know it doesn’t have an answer. So I’m gonna answer:
No. “Weather” my ass! I have ptsd from the blunt-force realization that neither my boss or anyone in charge cares whether we live or die, and the bulk of the powerful, rather than working to fix it are instead actively making it worse. I got anxiety not cuz it’s hot Poindexter, its cuz i turn on the news and it looks like a “shark week” blood frenzy just going to fucking town on the society i grew up in.
I can see it breaking down in front of me. Im poor, im tired of trying to scramble for better work only to have my gains taken from ‘inflation’, and the future looks exceptionally grim.
"Oh dear i wonder why everyone is stressed? Are you hot?
